Okay, now that I've been approved and everything is going okay, I don't know what to do. Before I started all this my husband's insurance would pay for about 75% of the surgery. My husband has a trust fund that he his uncle dictates how he uses it. In the beginning we talked about what we would need to pay and he agreed. Now after over a year and being approved and having a date he said 'Nope'. We already owe $1500 now and I can't make payments as we don't have great credit. I just don't know what I'm going to do!

You could try a lawyer -- is there one attached to the trust? He might be able to override the uncle. This surgery is just as necessary to you as a pacemaker would be to someone with a heart condition. Maybe the uncle doesn't get it? Could other family members turn the heat up on him? If the trust is for your husband, a medical expense for his family (you) seems like a reasonable thing to want to spend some of it on. If a lawyer can't help, you could see what the uncle would permit you to spend money on and then sell whatever that is. I'm really sorry. We had a smiliar situation with a will in our family (I was supposed to inherit a certain amount that I had planned to use for WL at a time when I had no insurance -- my own uncles decided their own increasing wealth was more important than my continuing to be alive). So I've been there.
