Hydromorphone ER HcI 3mg & Hydromorphone HcI 2mg

My Family Doctor gave these to me yesterday for back pain. My Belly is so large it gives me terrible pain in my back. I am not familer with thses pain killers. Does any one have anything good or bad to say about them? I know what it say on the internet. I'm looking for personal opinions. Thanks

Hi Ed; I have searched a bit on the net and it doesn't give a detail report on this drug >>Hydromorphone Hcl<> It does sound like a morphine based drug. Best to call your pharmacy and they can tell you more if you didn't get an insert on it. If it has no codeine in it can you tell me. I might badger my doctor to give me it. So far only time they gave me morphine was in the hospital for the pain in my back, neck, arms, hips....so in othe words I am always in pain. At home I take extra strength tylenol. Later Dude
