Can be.  Weren't you told you can't have gum anymore?  They said that it might get stuck in your new stomach and they would have to go in and remove it.  I assume they mean down the throat.  Lets hope you pass it. Good Luck

HI Jenn This is a HUGE deal. If you swallow the gum it can cover up the hole in your pouch and plug it up.

I was told no gum for 6 months and to be very careful not to swallow it. I have not had gum in over two years cause I am afraid to swallow it lol Take care Be careful

You'll know if the gum gets stuck, because you won't be able to get anything (liquids, food) down. Everything will come back up if the gum has caused a blockage.  If your liquids get down and stay down, don't worry about it but don't do it again! Dawn
