Yayyyy...Purolater

Well I found out friday from my Drs office that I had been approved but the purolater man came today and it was a wonderful feeling to have those papers in my hand.  I keep telling myself its really, really happening but kinda seems like a dream still.  Well now i can just look at the papers!!!  Im sooooooooo excited! How long after consult is surgery cuz I would be willing to have it at my consult!  LOL ill be there anyway! Just wanted to share! Becca

Thats too funny Becca. I think the wait time is different for everyone,Depending on Dr Grabers schedule. I was givin 2 earlier dates and turned them down. Plus He has cancellations also. It could be as soon as a couple weeks,or up to 2 months whos to say. Any ways good luck. Do you have a consult date already?? I can feel your excitement isn't it awesome Bobbie Jo

Way To Go Becca!!!!  My consult was day after Thanks giving in October and I was suppose to have surgery 7 Dec.  So there you have it.  And you have alot of things to do before the consult.  Email me if you need anything answered that I might be able to help you with.  Like how to get lost in Ottawa and stuff like that

Thanks everyone!  The excitment is sooooo contagious as ive read so many otherposts before about peoples experience and I always get a tingle when I hear them.  The "losers Bench" term brings tears to my eyes every time but this round its a wonderful thing. My advice to people thinking of Having WLS or those who are struggling to get WLS is... Dont give up no matter how many people put you down or try to talk you out of it. Thats family, freinds, Doctors, whatever.  If its what you want go get it.

Seek out support!!! cant say this enough it makes the whole difference. Ive found a whole new family in OH! And from what I can tell, everyone secondguesses their decision a million, trillion times and this IS normal! Thanks again Becca
