NSV's come early!

I'm only down 27 lbs, but decided to clean out my drawers.  Have already started a blue bag for Diabetes - some things are too big, and the tight things are now wearable.  It's a whole new wardrobe for free (sort of!)  Haven't tried pants yet - I think it'll be a little while before I can go there.  Doing the happy dance on this sunny summer day!

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora.  Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

That must feel really good.  I've done a lot of diets in my time, and I don't think I ever threw out or donated any of  my clothes that became too big... maybe I always knew that I would be wearing them again.  But this time it will be different, and I think quite liberating to start putting things in a bag to give away forever, because you will never be that size again.

I can hardly wait til the Diabetes or Cerebal Palsy people phone to ask if I have anything to donate... and I can say...yes!

WTG Megan!  You have a wonderful outlook that is truly inspirational.

that is so awesome, Megan!!! As soon as something gets too baggy to wear, its in the bag, ready for diabetes people!! I didnt even save my biggest pants, i might regret that later, but i hated those things when i was wearing them, i don't want them hanging around no more!!!

keep track of those NSV's. I hope you're taking pictures!! I'm about to do my 5 months (and my Birthday) photoshoot.
