Muscle Enzyme Test

Does anyone know what a muscle enzyme test is for?  I'll be having follow-up bloodwork in a few weeks, but doc wants muscle enzyme test as well.  He was rushing out the door so fast I didn't have a chance to ask what it was for.  Blood pressure was good - 5.5 weeks w/o meds - loss of more weight should make it even better, so no sense in adding meds for the small amount it's out.  Thanks to those who know so much more than I!

I haven't been tested for this, but I did google it.  Interesting info.  If soneone else doesn't respond about their experience, perhaps you could look at some websites about this.
