I still have my PITA but stopped thinking of it when I got PATTS call!
That sounds like the sciatica I had when I was pregnant.

Hi April,
No, it hurt all the time - sitting, standing, laying down.... I went to a chiropractor, fixed me right up.
Edited to add: I did have some relief after a BM for some reason. But it was still sore.

I get a horrible PITA...hurts to walk at times and a T3 can't even numb it. It almost always ends up being that I have a bowel blockage. The last two times, I took some extra stool softner, had a bm, and the pain disappeared...lol It's not fun I know, but good news for the PATTS. If you are backed up, it would hurt to sit because of all the pressure, lack of room. The small intestines are tangled in a normal state...if they get sluggish, everything would be more cramped and pushing on whatever is close, such as nerves. The only way to ease the pain while waiting for it to pass is to lay on my side, or, believe it or not, my belly. I hope it clears up for you.
