Nurse appt in Ottawa Dec 10th
I'm going to see the nurse at the weight management clinic at the Civic. I got a call five weeks ago. What will happen at this appointment? Do I need to bring anything? I'm so afraid that I won't get to live the dream and have surgery, because I want it so dearly badly. Cross my fingers, good thoughts!
Whew, that was a long time ago for me but in general they will interview you for a medical history (this is your baseline for any tests that may be required before surgery consent), weigh you and do a general inspection of your abdomen (I wish I had of known this first as I wore a dress!). I believe at this point you are also given paperwork (food logs) to fill out to bring to your appointment with the nutritionalist & behaviouralist

Also wanted to add that you can street park a block over for free (I think there's a time limit).

Oh I forgot...I also was scheduled for bloodwork (very extensive!); I was shocked that the nurse was able to pull up some results and review an hour later!
