Can we donate blood?

I checked with my GP at my appointment the other day. She said as long as my labs are fine, she sees no problem at all with donating. She said if my iron was low it would not be advisable but as long as it's good, I'm fine to donate. I have my req for my annual bloodwork and will get that done this weekend. Hopefully it's all good.
