I purchased one. I have confidence in the emergency medical staff too read and make the choices that are needed to deal with any issues I'm having. I'd rather them know right off the bat, and I'm sure professionals DO look for medical alert items.... They are trained to do so.

this is a great question. I'm having my surgery on October 22nd. I've been thinking about the bracelet. I just read Dawn's blog as well. Aside from Surgery, Surgeon, and ICE should I put anything else? I'm an asthmatic as well.
