may be cancelled

I haven't posted for a while cause my surgery may be cancelled.Surgery date was 15th of May ,next week. well Dr Omalley chequed off the wrong surgery.RNY instead of DS .so If I can't get it approved again by the 15th.I'm not sure what will happen. I've called My DR ...Dr OMalley and Oc**** will not tell me anything ,they say call Ont Dr ..Ont Dr says they sent out everything Occ wants. Dr Omalley says they corrected the mistake call Ont dr. No one knows anything except OCC And they wont say anything ..call Ont Dr they say.....and so it goes... So I'm In limbo waiting and calling all the Dr and driving them crazy I'm sure..But I only have this week to streighten this out.. I can definatly say i'm stressed out now...LOL Hugs All Carolynne

Oh Carolynne...I hope they get this all straightened out. I know what its like to get the runaround and it is soooo frustrating. I am about ready to give up on Dr. O'Malley all together and head to Barix. They still cant find my psych report, and as of yesterday, they didnt think the psych had returned from holidays yet. If they havent found it by Friday, I think will see about transferring my case to Barix. I hope their medical skills are better than their administrative ones!!! LeeAnne

yOU KNOW LEEANNE iF I Had to do it again I would go somewhere else. This is rediculous sp, all this waiting and appointments..and we still have to keep on top of them, to get it right. So far it doesn't seem any better then Canada..So I don't see where they are better then here.IMHP.eXCEPT THERE WAIT TIMES ARE BETTER. In my case not by much Hugs Carolynne

Oh Carolynne; I can understand your frustration entirely! What a ridiculous run around to put you through and so close to your surgical date! Like you need the added stress at this point. I know when I was waiting for my approval I tried calling OCC... they told me in no uncertain terms that no one would talk to me... that my GP was the only one who could be given any information... So your doctor should definitely know something... I wouldn't feel too badly about bugging his office Carolynne. After all, the error was his and it's up to him to correct it for you in time for your date next week... You hang in there though, okay? We're all here for you!!! Connie

I called Gp, they called OCC ,got an answering machine,she said she left a detailed message to get it corrected. As of 12 o'clock they haven't answered her.However the secretary is the best ....she says she will call me soon as she hears anything .. thanks everyone for your suport Hugs Carolynne

They can't do this to you!!! You already have your teddy bear and are ready! Buggers! I honestly hope that this gets straightened out Carolynne. Call EVERYDAY, morning and afternoon. Bug the **** out of them!!! Believe me, the squeaky wheel does get the grease hun. I will be hoping to hear good news from you soon! {{{HUGS}}}
