I'm Home
My stay at Barix was wonderful, but I'm happy to be home. I'm sipping my Apple crystal lite, just finished some broth, and did my breathing. Now I'm gonna lay down. Surgery was uneventful, and aside from some nausea and dizziness, I've been doing well. Thanks to my visitors, Jan, Arlene and my angel, Patti. You all are the best. I appreciate all the encouragement and support of everyone here on the boards. Thanks for welcoming me to the Loser's Bench.
Blessings, Jill
WLS 5/31/07. Maintaining a weight loss of 141 pounds and feeling amazing!
Hi Jill - looks like we were Barix buddies, I was just there on 5/29 - 5/31, it was nice, I had trouble with my breathing somewhat, which made me big time nervous. But I did smoke for over 20 years and that will do it.
I've been reading your posts and you are very funny in your writings and have appreciated your remarks, especially your one with the last minute items. It made me get up and get some stuff.
The experience was pretty intense, but now I definitely feel like I'm on the road to recovery and I'm very happy that I did this finally! I've been a member of OH for many years, since 2002, and it really did take me all this time to get insurance approval and everything else you have to go through. But it looks like it really worked out.
Hope you heal rapidly!
