Over the counter Meds!
Does anyone have a list of over the counter meds that an RNY patient can take. I am going on vacation to the beach in July and I dont want to be stuck without any clue. I havent taken any meds since my RNY surgery so this really isnt my cup of tea. For example has anyone taken pepto bismo or tylenol? I'm clueless when it comes to this stuff.
Thanks in advance,
Jenn
P.S I will also post on the april surgery forum.
Hi Jenn I will look later and post meds we can take. As far as pepto bismo(NO) I was just sick for over a week with a stomach bug and it just happened that I was scheduled to see Dr. Marymor and he said no to anything like that pepto, immoduim just let the virus run it course. I have taken liquid tylenol and lots on here use airborne. Hope this helps I will look for the list and get back to you.
