***Thursday Roll Call***
Good morning everyone - Trish, sounds like the meds are finally kicking in and hopefully you're feeling some relief - the weather this weekend is supposed to be very nice and WARM, so that may help you feel better, too - I know its going to work wonders for me!!
I'm at work today - left hubby and puppy home sound asleep in bed. My step-daughter from Georgia is due to arrive later today - I haven't seen her in almost 15 years - its been more than 5 since my husband saw her, so we're both very excited. I spent last night making sure the guest room was in A-one condition and getting the big airbed ready for their 13 year old daughter. Right now they're only staying with us one night - I wish they would change their minds and stay with us thru Sunday, but its their decision.
I made a huge casserole of baked ziti last night for tonight so hubby's job is to get that in the oven before I get home and I left him a short list for the store to pick up a few things for breakfast for his family - since he's diabetic and I can't eat sugar the house is basically a sugar-free zone now but for our guests they might enjoy a breakfast cake or something.
So that's my plan for today - may try to get my taxes done today, too - should be quiet here at work - very short staff today. Wish me luck on the taxes - we got a nice refund last year - hoping to break even this year.

I am sitting here waiting for the oil guy to come. I kept meaning to call and order a delivery and never did...I woke up this morning with no heat or ho****er! Gotta love being a procrastinator. Not only do I not have heat, but I have to be late to work so I can be here to let the guy in so he can bleed my pipes and restart the heater. Grrrr......Good news is that the oil price is down to $1.49 per gallon. I was paying almost $5.00 a gallon last winter.
Hopefully I will get to work not too late. Tonight, I have my sparring class. I still have a huge, ugly bruise on my forearm from last week....maybe I will get some sympathy out of it from the bullies in class LOL
