Hello and greetings to all patients in Phoenixville!
I am pleased to announce that Phoenixville Hospital will soon be starting its own Bariatric Surgery program with myself as the lead surgeon and medical director. The hospital and I are very excited about establishing a first-rate practice and I plan to personally attend the support group meeting next Wednesday to introduce myself and participate in the discussion.
My background is over 23 years of practice in general surgery with the last 10 years spent specializing in Bariatric Surgery. I was the Chief of Surgery at the Barix Clinics in Langhorne when it first opened in 2002 until 2006 when I left to practice in Long Island, NY. While there I have had the fortune of working with several very experienced bariatric surgeons including one of the first surgeons in the country authorized to do Lap Band operations before its official approval by the FDA in 2001.
Now I have decided to return to the area to continue practicing what I do and love best. My professional profile is on this website under bariatric surgeons in NY state for anyone to review. I will be joining the PMA Medical Specialists group effective June 1st; our office can be reached at (610) 933 - 8000 for appointments and more info.
Looking forward to meeting everyone next Wednesday!
