Still Fraustrated
I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems. I'd like to make the following suggestions which have really helped me with my re-losing some weight after almost four years postop.
1) Journal all of your intake (be honest!)
2) Ensure you are getting all the exercise you need to get
3) walkwalkwalk sipsipsip
4) Stay OFF the scale!
Good luck, kid--

We can't tell you what you're doing right and what you could be doing better unless you tell us what you're actually doing now.
There are plenty of people who will take the time to help you, but you have to take the time to help us understnad what's going on.
What are you eating? How often? What kind of physical activity are you doing? How often?

I try to excersise I work 9 hours a day and drive 3 extra hours to and from work. I eat protein bars and I eat salads at work and sometime s a very small sub. Lean Cuisine meals or healthy choice meals. a lot of water and diet ice tea and if I get hungry at work or on my way home from work I eat peanuts and/ or pretzels....On the weekends I am more active with my kids always out trying to do something. I have told Hershey and they said everything I am doing is fine. I can't do protein shakes I gag on them I have tried they don't work...so I eat pure protein I find at walmart. I am just so mad right now. I see my friend Tana and it is just sliding off of her and she never hit a plataue like this......I am mad at myself...I feel like I will never hit my biggest goal and that is to be under 200 lbs. I have 40 to go for that one......
1. It sounds like you have a very busy schedule, especially with that commute. BUT, is your journey important enough for you to find 30 minutes a day to exercise? Do you get a lunch at work? I suspect that if you take a hard look at your schedule, you'll find the time. If anybody promised you this would be easy, they lied. :) I would be happy to help you figure out a reasonable regular fitness plan to get started on.
2. Protein bars are, by and large, not a ideal protein source. Lots of extra empty calories and carbs. I'm not sure what you mean by Pure Protein from Wal-Mart. What kind of a supplement is that? What different kinds of shakes have you tried? There are tons of shakes to choose from, and they are much better protein sources than bars!
3. How often are you snacking on pretzels and peanuts? Snacking over 3 hours of driving can add up really quickly. Pretzels are garbage and not a good snacking option at all. Peanuts are ok, but in small portions, and only occasionaly. They do have a measure of protein, but they have a lot of fat and sodium as well. Have you tried soy crisps? Jerky?
4. I don't care about your friend, and neither should you. We are all blessed/cursed with different levels of metabolism, genetic dispositions to retain weight, etc, etc, etc. It's not a contest. It's not a race. And being mad and jealous is emotionally counterproductive. Worry about you, and leave the rest behind.

Hey Girl,
I'm sorry you are going thru this. I am going to try to come to Liz's cooking class this Saturday with you and Tanya. I am having a jewelry party on Sunday and have an entire house to clean so we'll see. I will talk to you then but try not to get too stressed about it. The weight will come off. Just give it more time.

sounds to me that you might be getting too much carbs and fat in. I wouldn't snack on the pretzels & peanuts, I would snack on cheese for the ride.
also those frozen foods are full of sodium, so you may be retaining water.
protein drinks have not been my friend either. Once in a while I can tolerate an Adkins shake and will have that on my way home from work. Another way to have protein is with Crystal Light. I try to do that once a day to increase my protein intake. I take one of those one serving mixers of Crystal Light, add to a 16 ounce bottle of cold water, then add unflavored protein and shake it up well.
good luck...I know looking at friends being successful makes it look easy, but this is not an easy ride for anyone....it's alot of work and finding exactly what works for you. HUGS.

Echoing what others are saying .. ditch the carbs and work on getting in good protein.
Pack your lunch if you aren't already doing it. Lean Cuisine and Sub sandwiches are not a good use of your pouch space. You should carry cheeses, meats, and other low-carb foods.
I just bought buffalo burgers (uncooked) at Trader Joe's, they are low fat and have 43 grams of protein per patty. It's an excellent way to get your protein in with real food. I put a slice of cheese on a cooked patty and then a slice of bacon (or turkey bacon if you want lower fat). It's a bunless cheeseburger that reheats really well. You should check out the food threads on this forum for ideas on what others are eating if you need help.
When you are in your weight loss window you need to be super careful with what you eat so that you can get the weight off and develop good habits.
If you keep the bad habits you had before your surgery then you will not be as successful as someone who changes their ways. Surgery is just a portion of the equation -- you are by far the biggest part of it.
