Need advise on Pasta
I am 15 months out and have not touched a lot of pasta. However with 2 kids and a husband who BTW is primarily a vegetarian they love pasta from time to time. I picked up Whole Wheat Pasta but it taste like crap. Why?? I like everything else whole wheat but just not Pasta so my question is this has anybody got a suggestion on what kind of whole wheat pasta they use that does not taste like saw dust?? I would like my family to enjoy the benefits of eating whole grains. BTW I ended up throwing out all the pasta I made and my husband & kids did not like the whole wheat pasta either. Any suggestions??

DREAMFIELDS is the way to go it is a little more expensice then regular pasta, but it is the best.
I am Italian and I have to have my pasta is this one tastes like regular pasta . that whole weat stuff & Barilla plus tatse like the cardboard box, I have been eating dreamfields for a few years now because being diabetic it is low on the glycemic indes and never made my BS go up, you can get it any store near you I know Giant & shop Rite carry it
the only thing I will not buy whole wheat is pasta... I'm sorry it is crap... I have tried every brand... and no one has ever liked it... if a 1 year old won't eat whole wheat mac and cheese... you know it is bad... the only way I have gotten around it is mixing it 50/50 with white pasta...
but I also can't cook it al dente... I have to cook it a bit more or it feel like a 10 ton brick in my stomach... but for the few times we eat it... I just use normal pasta... but also when I fix it I cook it in broth... so try cooking the pasta in veggie broth to add some extra flavor or toss in some whole pieces of garlic and onion into the cooking water...
But... what I have really liked is buckwheat pasta... it is japanese... omg sooo good!
