Ran into a slight glitch for surgery

Thanks. It it takes them 3 months to come down so be it. I want my doc's to be on top of all this so that it is as safe a surgery as it can be.

My wifes liver enzymes tested high. Ultra sound of the liver was good, she doesn`t drink a drop of alcohol, and doesn`t meet any risk factors.  Her AST was 90 and her ALT was 161. Only meds she takes is Boniva, Calcium and a high potency multi vitamin. Doctor stopped all three and then over a couple months added them back. First the boniva, then the calcium. Still off the vitamin and all her numbers are normal now. She still doesn`t take a multi-vitamin and the numbers are down. What could be in a multi with minerals??

What meds, vitamins or herbs do you take?

my pre-op ultra sound showed my liver is fatty. i also do not drink a drop of alcohol, and do not meet the risk factors. my last tat was in the early 90's, I am on a ton of meds which is the reason for pursuing this surgery.

The day I had my blood test I had been taking tylenol & an over the counter sinus medication for a sinus infection.
