***Tuesday Roll Call***
I don't think I was ever the first to post this. But I woke up at 3 a.m. coughing and sneezing. Took some meds but can't fall back alseep. So here I am....LOL
I have an ultrasound and x-ray early this morning. Then I will head to work. I get off at 3:30 and will head home to make dinner and chill for a little before I head to my next class. Tonight it's English! YUCK! Hopefully it won't be as bad as I remember!
Hope everyone has a great day!
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
Hi all! Today is another day at the library. It is only 38 outside and I am so not looking forward to winter.
Jo, I hope you feel better...coughing and sneezing in the middle of the night is no fun.
I did not stay up my usual late night because I have to be at work this morning and did not sleep the on Sunday night. Took my dog to the dog park last night and he had a blast...it was like a short dog convention in the little dogs' park there. For anyone in Lower Bucks, there is a dog park in Falls Township, near Mill Creek Road and Rt. 13. I will gladly give directions.
Today has me heading back to school....WAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH. Yes, I am a whiner too. I anticipate meetings and setting up my classroom, which I absolutely dread. My room is a dustbowl, so I got my Mr. Clean with Febreeze and gloves for the dirty work. After school, I am checking out an apartment to see about downsizing my budget a little. Not sure what tonight holds, as I did not get to my group session last night, so I might go tonight.
I hope everyone has a great day.
Hugs,
Trish

Today I too will be working on my homework assignments (mine are for my BA in Business). In addition, I have to do some reports that are due.
Cleaning the house at some point and at various points in time playing Trains, coloring, being entertained by my lovely 3 year old.
I am excited to start another school year! Yes - I am one of those geeks who likes the beginning of the school year and looks forward to all things new. Go ahead - make fun! I am OK with it! :)
So - my day is off to school to see people who have not seen me since June - Totally excited about that - wearing a Size Large T-shirt showing off my son's new High School - then after school, I have a meeting at the synagogue for the high schoolers I teach there. I've seen these people, so although looking forward to the meeting, I don't expect a lot of "WOW's" for my new body...although, I'll be sure to mention it to get some reaction! :) HAHA! On the way home from the synagogue I will stop to visit my hubby at work as I will not see him until Friday. He is taking the kids to the shore tomorrow morning for a few days while I am back to work.
I am absolutely LOVING this weather! Dry and cool! Our school should be cool and pleasant! I hope you all have a great day and get off the roads.....the teachers are back! :)
I am off to Geisinger for my first checkup since surgery. Also my first weigh-in since the day of surgery. As long as the number goes down I will be happy. My top weight was 315 last November and my surgery day weight was 259 so already I am a happy camper. Chilly this morning so I dug out a light sweatshirt that I have not been able to wear for two years. Fits me perfectly. Guess you could call it my first WOW moment. LOL After my appointment I am going to check out Curves and the local community center. Just from my conversations with them yesterday it looks like the community center will be my best bet. I want to tour both to check out the equipment, cleanliness, ect. After that a short trip to the grocery store and then hope to make DH's sticky buns. Have a wonderful day everyone.

I go to Curves and I like them a lot - I had joined a gym prior to my surgery and never felt comfortable there (plus nobody ever talked to me!) - but at Curves there are a lot of ladies closer to my age (52) and the owner is wonderful and very chatty. I personally just feel more comfortable there but you'll find what works best for you, too.
Have a great appointment - post and let us know how it goes!
