****Happy Saturday Roll Call****

Good morning Trish and PA friends,

I'm up early this morning, working on stats.  It's rainy and chilly, but that's okay, it's great to have a day like this once in a while.

Liz, I cleaned out my drawers yesterday, packed up the summer stuff and out with the winter stuff.  Luckily, a jacket I outgrew fits now - YAY!  I have a lot of "thin" pants just waiting for me to be able to wear again.

Down:  24 pounds, off 3 meds, only taking 1/2 of a BP pill and hopefully will be off of that too!  WOO HOO!  I'm loving it.

Good morning everyone. I just sitting here drinking a skinny sf pumpkin spice latte  So good.

I will spend the day cleaning in the kitchen and then do some crocheting.  Any other crocheters out there?  What are you working on?  I belong to an online group that send crocheted items to a Native Amerian reservation.  I am working on scarves

mmmm...pumpkin latte...not sure if im ready to make the fall transition, though.

anyway- today starts Week 5 of my 8 week to 10K training...I'm getting caffinated up now and headed out to run soon. 

i went back to work this week (school) and had a fantastic week.  my class is awesome (much different from lasst year)...so i think it's going to be a great year.  which means i might not need to go back on meds after all...we'll see.

cant wait to see all my adorable neices, nephews and family at my dads 60th today.

If it's not too yucky out,  may head out to the Irish Festival today.  I have chores to do around the house that I keep avoiding. teehee

I need to study my homework for the motorcycle class.  Tomorrow, I spend five hours out on the range learning to ride them.  What fun!

Well ......
I survived the first week of school!!! LOL My class is cute but very chatty...much different from last year's class but I am sure I will be okay!!! LOL

This week was a whirlwind and the weekend will be too....today we are cleaning, food shopping, heading to church, and doing laundry.  Tomorrow I have to go back to Philly for a special teacher's mass for the beginning of the school year...so I want to try to get all my errands and whatnot done today....

Then tonight I will probablly just hang out and play on the computer ...watch tv or read....it is a rainy rainy day and the perfect weather to just snuggle up on the couch and hang out....

Good morning all.  Heading out to Geisinger for the bariatric reunion.  Barbara Thompson will be speaking.  This will be the first of many reunions for me.  We did not have a support group meeting at the beginning of the month because of the holiday so I am looking forward to seeing some of my friends that I have not seen since my surgery.  Sure hope the weather holds up.  Have a great day.

Good Morning Trish & PA,

Today I've been up since 6am, no papers to write, no school work, but I still couldn't sleep. Got up to sit in the living room and read, the kitty curled up next to me.

Now I'm sitting on the computer. Toda is the last day of my full liquid diet. Tomorrow is all clear liquids then nothing after midnight.

I found out yesterday I have to be at the admissions off at noon. When I saw my doc on Thursday, he told me I will be the second surgery because after surgery they arranged for my hematologist to be at the hospital to take over my care to prevent any blood clots and to administer the meds he wants them to use on me.

When Gene gets up we are going to go upstairs to work on my smaller clothes to get them organized so when I drop sizes I'll be prepared adn they will all be marked and together ready to bring down to my closet. I'm looking forward to seeing what I have stored up there, as I grew out of each size I just threw them upstairs, in no particular order. Now I'm looking forward to seeing what I have and what sizes. I know I have down to size 10 up there that I was wearing in 2006, which are good business suits so a good suit very rarely goes out of style

And if it stops raining my daughter might be bringing the new grand dog over to meet us. I'm looking forward to meeting Bella, although I'm sure Hider (our cat) will not be happy to meet her new niecedog
She tolerates the nephdog but would prefer he not be in her house...

Think I'll go back to some reading.

I will be praying for you as you head to surgery.  I have a clotting disorder, so I had to be injected with Lovenox for weeks afterward.  I learned to inject myself, and still do when I am immobile, like traveling long distances, other surgeries and broken feet.
