Anyone a patient of Dr. Garber?

Thanks again for all the responses!!  WOW, you guys and gals are amazing!!

I don't see many people on here that have gone to Dr. Garber in York, PA, anyone out there?  I hope I did not make a bad choice in surgeons. 

Thanks for the insurance advice, I tried to call yesterday to see if any of the paper work had been submitted yet, and got a very abrupt person who acted like I was waisting her time, and promptly told me no and hung up.  And they want to know what is the matter with our health care system, it is no longer about "HEALTH CARE!"

I didn't have Dr. Garber, but personally know about 12 people who have gone to Dr. Garber or Dr. Monk. I hear great things about Dr. Garber. I had met him once when I was admitted to hospital and they were considering performing surgery on me while I was preggo 3 years ago. He was very nice and I felt at ease with him if I would of HAD to get the surgery done. (Luckily, I got to wait until after delivery)

Dr. Monk cares for me for any post RNY issues I have.... since I live so far away from my surgeon. So I have been to the office a few times and have always found thier staff nice and helpful.

Dr. Garber is my surgeon.  I'm just 5 weeks postop.  He's on the quiet side, but I have no problems asking questions and he responds immediately.  Never makes you feel rushed.  I'm very comfortable with him.
