Newbie
Hi All!!
I am a newbie here, I just finished my 6month physician supervised, yesterday. I am patiently (haha) waiting to hear that it has been sent to my insurance. I am trying really hard not to call my surgeons office every second, and ask how about now, how about now..... I hope this process goes by fast I am ready to get on with my life. I have been reading your posts and have learned so much, I look forward to posting "I GOT MY DATE!!!"

Anita, welcome to the best board on OH!! Congrats on finishing your supervised diet!! You may need to stay on top of your insurance co. and surgeon's office to make sure things are progressing. I think you and Susie will find that time moves pretty quickly. We're here for any questions you have or support you need. Julia
Anita, I was told that the hardest part of the entire process is what you are going through right now. For me, that was the absolute truth! Stay abreast of your insurance company and what they require, every step of the way. And remember, they say that patience is a virtue!
Till then, visit the forum and you will learn a lot!

Susie,
Thanks you so much for the welcome!!! I live in New Freedom, Pa on the MD side of York. I am having my surgery at York Hospital with Dr. Garber hopefully soon. I know what you mean about wishing it would go by faster, I keep saying "ok just a couple more months....." I had to switch doctors mid stream, mine decided to take a LOA, and the new doctor I have is AWFUL!!! I think for my monthly appointments I am in his office about 4.5 minutes, he is not one of those "caring" types, I will need to look for another new doctor, I just did not want to do that "again". I look forward to enjoying this journey with all the knowledgeable people on this site!!! Thanks again, see you on the flip side!!
