Tuesday Exercise!

Nice job Kathy.

I ran the 1.5 mile police academy loop today and it sucked. Today was one of those days that my running was just plain old ugly and hard. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

I have yoga tonight.

hopefully I will get out of work (on call) at a decent time in order to run about 3-4 miles tonight on the treadmill and maybe do some lifting, situps, and pushups.  Have a great night everyone!

Just finished Day 1 in the last week (week 8) of my 10k training.

I am TOTALLY freaking out... as usual...and doubting myself....as usual.

  The 10K is on Sunday and I am super nervous... no matter how many times i realize that i         A L W A Y S achieve the goals i set for myself, i still have a harrd time overcoming this mentality.

wish me luck, friends! i need to stay positive.

I too have the mental thing when it comes to running in races.  Give me a 5K anyday because I know I can do it.  Give me a longer distance and I start to doubt myself.

When I did the DE Marathon relay in May (6.55 miles each person) my best friend gave me these words of wisdom just as I was getting ready for my leg of the race, "Go out and get what you came here for."  I put on my iPod and ran my race.  It was fantastic.  I never felt stronger and more ready.

You have been training for this and you are ready... Go out and get what you trained for!
