Thank you so much for your kind thoughts and for including me in your prayers. This is a real comfort and has lifted my spirits to know so many people have taken the time to leave me so many  messages of concern and hope.

(((Hugs))) Add my prayers and thoughts to everyone else's. This is a scary time but like you said one day at a time and you will get through it. Congratulations on being so on top of self exams and on making another appointment even when the first biopsies came back negative. Good luck with all your treatment and tests. We are all here for you, keep us updated please.

I wish you good luck as you go through this difficult time.  Given the history in your family, I would strongly recoomend the genetic testing.  I had a strong history of breast cancer in the family and didn't get the testing.  When speaking with an oncologist, he indicated the strong tendency for ovarian cancer and that convinced me to do it.  I was glad that I did.  I am brca1 positive.  Immediately had my ovaries removed along with a hysterectomy due to other issues.  I have not done anything in terms of prophilactic mamography yet.  But if your genetic testing comes back positive, that could certainly influence your decisions.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.
