***Soggy Saturday Roll Call****

Good Morning PA and friends,
Well, it is a soggy Saturday here in the Philadelphia area, but I am told there is white stuff on the ground in other parts of our Commonwealth.  It is not even freaking Halloween yet, and I refuse to get out my parka and boots just yet.  I am still wearing my sandals when I walk Utley.

Saturday has me up trying to get something accomplished before I head to my therapist's office.  Then, I hope to get more done around here, and head to an AA meeting.  I am between tidying, and wrapping prize baskets for the Special Olympics Dinner Bingo on Tuesday.  My sister is the organizer and we have a ton of stuff to wrap up and make pretty.  She thinks I am the creative one and she is the idea person.  I just know I am overrun with baskets and junk to put in them.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Huggles,
Trish

Good luck with the baskets Trish!

I am about to climb out of bed and start getting things ready for cooking class. Just rainy here - thank god no snow but it is less then an hour north of me - they can keep it!!!

Good morning PA.  It is cold and damp on this side of the state too.  What ever happened to Indian summer?

What ever you are doing today, please stay warm dry and safe

I all,

Well it is white out and definetly not soggy.  Today is running errands and paying bills.  My brakes are getting changed too!  I want my car ready for the trip this weekend.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Yeah, I get to post on roll-call. I guess I can only do this on the weekend since my job blocked the website...what do they have against OH???

Anyway, hubby is at class until noon then he is going shopping for his trip back home to Ghana so it's me and the little ones and already I broke up 2 fights...it's going to be a long day but thankfully at 7pm tonight I have a date with my wonderful husband. I can't wait. I haven't been out in a long time. I haven't danced since before my hip replacement in June so this is exciting for me.

I just have to figure out what to do with a 4 and 6 year old all day when it's cold and rainny out. We plan on doing Chuck E Cheese tomorrow since my son will be 4 on Monday. My times flies.

Everyone try to have a dry and fun weekend.

Good Morning all..........

Cold, wet and blah out there!

Today has me hanging with kids, heading down the road to check out a Durango later, and baking with Sawyer & Riley later. He still hasn't decided what he wants other than brownies, so I need to make him decide.

Other than that.........just chilling and enjoying a cozy day with the family.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Morning Trish, PA!

Yup a soggy day for sure, I hear you Trish on this early reminder of what is surely going to be a longgggggg winter ;)  Though I do believe they said nicer weather will return on was it Monday or Tuesday, can't remember. . .  I sure hope we have a little more warmer weather before we plunge into the shorter, colder days!

Well I fed my addiction last night and played Bejewled Blitz until the wee hours of the morning, bound and determined to get a decent score before I went to bed (lol).  I don't get to play much during the week and it's almost a rebellious thing to be able to stay up really late (lol), but of course Dillinger does not care that I was up late, he wants me to give him his petting time on his schedule (lol), this morning was funny, he heard my housemate was up and he actually opened the door to my bedroom his self, now mind you it is a pocket door, but it was only open the bare minimum and he pushed it open with his face so he could play up Diane for some petting time and when she was done and tried to get him to go outside, he came back into my room, jumped up on the bed and barked as if to say, you think I'm going out in that slop?  Ok, I'm a little bit botz over my dog, but each one has their personality and mine definitely has attributes that make us know exactly how and what he is communicating to us, oh and of course, then it was my turn to give him petting time after which he finally went out and then came back in to be toweled off and get a treat for his troubles. . .  ahh the life of a well loved 4-legged furface friend. . .

Well folks, I am looking forward to dancing at Tammy's wedding today!

So here's hoping that you all have a safe, dry day and remember the old line about every cloud having it's silver lining, maybe that will make this day better for you.

Hugs, Laureen

Morning all - took a very soaking walk with the pooch this morning - thank goodness he's not a big fan of cold and rain either so he did his business quickly and we came home. Gave him a special treat this morning and warmed his towel in the dryer while we were walking so I could wrap him up in it when we got back - he loved it! Yes, he is one pampered pooch.

Doing laundry and guess I will venture out to the grocery store sometime today and thats about it for my big plans. Think it'll be a quiet weekend considering the weather absolutely sucks right now.

Have fun at the cooking class everybody - make yummy stuff!!

EEEEWWWWWW Yuck is my reaction to the weather outside.  Today finds me running to Franklin Mills to return a pair of flannel lined jeans they ended up being too big.  I measured my waist using a tape measurer and it said 38 and when I ordered the pants and they arrived they were size 38 but me and one of my dogs could fit in them so now I am taking them back and trying 34s and off to Verizon to take care of my cell phone which dies in the middle of the conversation it just drops dead and won't come back on til I charge it and here I charge it every nite and do not use it a whole lot during the day and it dies! Then I am coming home and cleaning up the house.  The war on dog hair and the hair is winning or should I say the dogs?  And I groom all three of them.  The chow and the golden shed enough that I can make another dog with their fur.  Ugh. This weather has to give it stinks!  Trying to stay upbeat in spite of it. Congrads to Tammy.  Hope everybody has a great time. Stay dry and warm everybody.

We woke up early and disassembled our living room and bedroom for the carpet cleaners...which of course leads to a lot of other cleaning and household tasks. So that's the order of the day - certainly one of those things that gets worse before it gets better! You'd think that housekeeping would be simple with the "empty nest" and just the two of us, but somehow it just never stops!

Rainy in Lancaster too...and I'm fighting just a tiny touch of congestion, so didn't go to the gym today. Sipping mint tea sounds about right.

Later I hope to go to the mall - need to get a granddaughter birthday gift (6 yrs. old) and get my ring cleaned, now that I can actually get it off! Hubby wants to stop in at one of the discount grocery stores to check out their bargains (always of interest to him since he works in the food industry).

And then there's this pile of paperwork to tackle - filing, tossing, etc.

Excitement this week - my daughter and 2 granddaughters (age 2 and 3) will arrive late Thursday night from Michigan!
