RYE BROOK NY- OH CONFERENCE

JUST A SHOUT OUT TO SEE IF ANYONE FROM PA IS HEADING TO RYE BROOK NY? MY NAME IS PATRICIA PATTON AND I AM FROM UNIONTOWN PA ABOUT 50 MILES SOUTH OF PITTSBURGH. THOUGHT WE COULD MEET UP WITH ANYONE FROM PA AS ANOTHER SUPPORT GROUP MEMBER AND I ARE HEADING THERE IN THE WEE HOURS OF FRIDAY MORNING. I AM PARTICULARLY INTERESTED IN MEETING OTHER SUPPORT GROUP LEADERS AND WE COULD EXCHANGE IDEAS. I WILL BE SPEAKING AT A BREAKOUT SESSION ON HOW IMPORTANT A SUPPORT GROUP IS AND HOW TO GET ONE STARTED IN YOUR AREA...I AM EXCITED. I am heading "over".  I live north of you.  Almost to the NY border in Potter County.  I will be driving south to catch 80 in Williamsport and head on over.  IF I come alone, I will be leaving early.  If my hubby comes, who knows when we will head out lol.  Although, I hope its on or about 9am.  It's about 4 1/2 hours drive from here.  This is alot shorter than my usual trips to Fairfax, VA so should be a piece of cake!  However, I am not looking forward to being that close to the city! 

I am hoping to get pumped up, encouraged and have a blast. 

HI THERE THANKS FOR WRITING BACK I AM PUMPED. WE HAVE TO LEAVE ABOUT 4 AM TO MAKE IT TO NY BY 11 OR 12 ON FRIDAY. I HAVE ONE GAL FROM MY SUPPORT GROUP COMING. I HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN TO THE PITTSBURGH EVENT AND PHILADELPHIA EVENT IN 2008 AND NOW THEY HAVE COMBINED THEM REGIONALLY. I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THE FASHION SHOW AND DR GARTH DAVIS...HOPEFUL WE WILL BE ABLE TO CONNECT WHILE THERE HAVE A SAFE JOURNEY...PATRICIA

there will be four of us from Pa driving down 80 sometime on friday early I hope....we start in Ashland area, then  up to Danville,,,,then pick up two gals near Strausburg, maybe another girl also might come down and meet me at my home and she will drive with us, still haven't heard from her yet, she was supposed to call?  I am going to Lizs today in Easton to make the final arrangements with all the gals about when and where we will meet and time we will leave....looking foreward to this trip, it will come one week before my husband and I leave for our vacation to Hawaii.................weeeeeeeeeeeee....also some of us girls are bringing halloween outfits for friday night.................should be fun......................Lois

I AM NOT INTO HALLOWEEN COSTUMES BUT I AM GOING TO DRESS TO "KILL" SO TO SPEAK. I LOVE PLAYING DRESS UP. I NEVER WEIGHED 140 BEFORE AND NEVER WORE A SIZE 8.
