Thrilling Thursday roll call!!
Morning everyone!
It's Thursday morning and I am awake.. only because I have to play the mom role and make sure Siehara gets off to school on time and with everything she needs. I took today off because I was supposed to go to Domestics for a contempt hearing so we could try to squeeze money out of the rock I call my sperm donor. BUT, since he's an arse and is jail for something different, there is no hearing. I decided to take the day off anyway. I can use it!
I have a few errands to run, like finally doing the follow up blood work to get my cholesterol levels checked. The other things don't HAVE to be done today, but I will do some. I need to do some Chanukah shopping for Siehara while she is not with me. For now, I am going to crawl back under the covers for awhile since the bloodwork is fasting. I need to wait a bit for the 12 hours to be up. I had a snack last night, so I'm going to wait awhile to be sure I have a full 12 hours in.
Later today, I will meet with Rocco for some hardcore strength training and then pick up the girls from dance. Then, hopefully my babysitter is available and I can go to bingo. I miss going every week. That was always my night out of the house. It's harder now with less income and no live in babysitter.

Good Morning Lisa & PA:
Working 7:30 till hopefully 2:00 today.
Still not feeling well today. Meat & fish do not agree with me. I had about an ounce of turkey w/gravey last night and my pouch is still upset today. So hopefully I can last till at least 2:00 and if not I'll be going home sooner. Being home I am much more comfortable when the pouch is acting up.
I'm hoping to get to curves today after work but not sure at this point.
It was nice to meet some of you last night at Barix. Unfortunately I was not my normal self because of my pouch being in so much pain.
Today on the way home from work, picking up tofu, I know I don't have any reactions to that and scrambled eggs.
Tonight I will be making a tofu cheesecake for a birthday dinner Gene and I will be going to tomorrow night. Since Gene has had his surgery I always bake or make a WLS friendly dessert when we go to friends homes. Now for me I'm so used to cooking WLS friendly there are no more recipes to convert or refigure. I've done them all....

I am hoping today is better. Yesterday turned out to be rotten, with the day ending in me receiving my algebra test score.

So at work today, then home to make dinner for family and hopefully just relax a little wind down and work on more algebra.

I am at the beginning of a crazy day and already have a headache and feel the need for a nap! I am at wor****il 4 - then off to the Dr for my flu shot at 4:30 - then run home, pick up Newman run out to the vet to make a 6:30 appt for him. Somewhere in there I need to make a grocery list and start cleaning the house. ANyone want to be my personal assistant for free? lol

Good morning - well, the film crew is here and setting up - guess I better be getting ready for my big 'debut' on the small screen!! Nerves haven't set in yet but I'm guessing they will the closer we get to film time. WISH ME LUCK!! I never, ever would have done something like this pre-WLS but hey, since zip-lining is out for me guess this is the next, most adventerous thing I can do!
As for all the personal crap that's been going on - broken down car, someone stealing my social security number and running up ridiculous charges on Direct TV, and then someone hacking into my bank account over the weekend I think I"m getting all that straightened out (hopefully) - and I hope that's my 'THREE' and there are no more dramas for a while!!
So take care everybody - I'll be handing out glossies and signing autographs this afternoon.

Good morning all.......UGH!!!!! Already - it has been a frustrating morning here at school.....My principal can be so pig-headed.....It seems that I hurt the feelings of the Home and School Association president - who, btw, I have a NICE relationship with, becuase there was something that was done and I said something to her - my principal said that I should NOT have talked to her and should have gone to the building representative who would have then gone to him?!?1 WHAT?!?!?!?! So - now I have to NOT talk to people I am friendly with because it might hurt someone's feelings!?!?! OMG!!!!! What a morning. So want to scream at people - so I told the principal that I would talk to her again to smooth it out and he advised me NOT to. Are you kidding me?!?!?! Again....I JUST WANT TO TEACH CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So - anyway - another crazy day today - after school I have an ENT appointment and then tonight I have a professional development with the people I traveled to Israel with. Then a crazy weekend all over the place.
LOVED the support group meeting last night. I loved getting to meet Ida - sorry that your pouch is giving you a hard time!

For everyone who is not feeling great, hope it clears up for you. Three bad things in a row, nothing else will happen, hope everything get straightened out soon. Steffi sounds like politics to me. Lisa have a good day off and enjoy. Jojo I am right there with you, you are a better woman than I to even try. Today I will see my pcp for last visit before surgery. I have a appointment at 5:30 for the MRI that I need. (yes they did squeeze me in, although they were not going to and I asked what would happen if it was an emergency, which is what my doctors office told me to tell you and she said "The doctor would call us directly" But I was nice to her, and it got me what I needed) So then just have to breath deep waiting for the results. Off to my weekend nanny job with the grandchildren after the appointment, being with them always makes me feel better. Have a good day all.
