Trying to be patient!

My Doctors office wouldnt give me even a tentative date for surgery, without a note from Oncologist. I can't blame them at all for that. They also warned me my insurance is fickle and may request many more tests, even after all I have done already.So,  I have an  appointment tomorrow..at least the snow didnt cause me a problem..driving 2 1/2 hrs, into Philly  . Wish me luck, I am so ready I am not sure how I will even handle this if I get turned away by insurance.  Trying to stay positive, but I hope this isnt the case of too good to be true! I am so excited to start this journey! -Lynn

Lynn - Here's to hoping that things go very well tomorrow and you get your date! Just remmeber if they DO ask for more testing in the long run it is for your well being, although I know it is impossible to see in the heat of the moment!

I know and I was prepared to wait months but now I am just getting punchy. I do know it's all for my own good, I am just having insurance issues I don't want to even get into, and praying this will happen before I lose my insurance.  Thanks for your support and all your great advice on the boards. Thanks Ladies! I saw Onco today, her nurse faxed the note in front of me, and gave me a copy! I am poking and prodding! I will do wahtever it takes , even if it meant driving 120 miles in a little blizzard . Glad to be home safe sound and warm!                   -Lynn
