So freezing is par for the course?
leave it to me to be the odd one out.. I get cold a bit, but nothing like you guys are saying.
It seems that first thing in the morning and when I first go to bed are the times when I am most cold. In the morning, I sit with a fleece blanket on. But, by mid morning, I am good. At night, I need to get under the covers and snuggle, but then wake up in the middle of the night sweating sometimes.. I've turned the thermostat down a bit at night and find that I am cold getting in, but don't wake up sweating anymore.
During the day, I am usually fine. I'm not HOT like I used to be, but I'm not freezing either.

During the day I can control being cold by wearing layers (and have learned that Wigwam socks and GOOD quality fleece are the best).
At night, I folded a lightweight down blanket in half and put it on my side of the bed - over the regular down comforter. Occasionally I need to wear socks for the first few minutes in bed. Best thing on earth? Warm the socks first by blowing a hair dryer into each one. Heavenly!

Before I had surgery, I was terminally freezing. Seriously, Steve says that I am the only human being he knows that was in Panama City Beach in July during 95+ weather during the day and 85+ at night, who got out of a 90 degree swimming pool at 9 pm with teeth chattering. And that was when I weighed over 240 pounds.
I am so damned cold now I could cry most days. I wear lots of polar fleece, heavy socks, microfibebr and I have a polar fleece blanket and a heavy down comforter on my bed. I don't pay my heat, so the thermostat is set on 78. LOL I need to move to Aruba and even then, I may still be frozen solid.
