OMG I Look like a Shar-pei!

Went to the Dr today for a check up and they removed a little bit of fluid from my band because I'm 120 lbs and I need to stabilize.  My husband took pictures for me because I have always been curious what it looked like when they did a fill.  I just uploaded the pics to my profile.. Warning.... I resemble a Shar-pei!  I do believe I need to start thinking about surgery LOL.

I have to say I would rather feel thin and wrinkled than fat and tight!!!! You look great!!! You have come a long way, you should be very proud!

You are correct.. I am very happy with my results.  It's worth the wrinkles!

Amen to that!  I much prefer my loose skin to my fat belly. 

Wow, Diane, way to work your tool.  You've done a remarkable job and look amazing!  I hope I do as well with my RNY.  I'm down 60, 45 more to go.  Congratulations!

You may be saying OMG but its really a successful OMG and you do sound so positive with this.  Comes with the territory. Hang in there and do what you need to do.

I thought that was a pic of my stomach, minus the needle.........LOL. You are not alone. But it's definately an "OK" trade off!

I hear you!!  My upper arms look HORRIBLE!!  I am dreading summer..once again, just like when I was fat because of how nasty the loose skin and wrinkles look.  I have started to work my arms but it is going to take a LONG time.  And my upper thighs look bad too but I can cover them, the arms are going to be the worst!  I call them Bingo Arms!

I call my arms bat wings.  If I wave at someone they continue to wave long after I've stopped.  I always wear 3/4 sleeves no matter what the weather.  The combination of fat and stretchmarks have made my arms look sad lol.
