****Still Shivering Sunday Roll Call****
I just got back from walking Utley, and I must say, I am ready to buy another set of Cuddle-Duds, as I have never had so many mornings so cold in my life.
I have been AWOL lately for a good reason. I have been helping out at church, where we have been providing emergency housing for the homeless in this cold weather. I was there Thursday, for a few hours, overnight Friday, and Saturday for a few hours. These people are so sweet, and so desperate. We also have one woman about to give birth.
Today, I am heading to church for worship, and Sunday, where I am teaching the 4th and 5th graders. After that, I have to head to the post office to mail a package for a friend in Florida's birthday. Then, home to tackle more boxes. Somewhere in there, I must haul hiney to an AA meeting.
Stay warm and if you live in Lower Bucks, you can volunteer to help the homeless by attending the training this afternoon at Woodside Presbyterian in Yardley.

God bless and be grateful you have a home tonight.

Good morning all of PA - I hope you all slept warmly and well. I laughed my way through what was called a football game last night, they just fell apart....oh well...It did not change my life at all....just a fun up and down season. Now we can look forward to warmer weather and spring coming soon.
Today is Hebrew School, marketing, chili making, I hope, and some quiet time home with the family. Right....like it is ever quiet with MY family. :)
Have a nice relaxing Sunday everyone! :)
We all have our talents and use them in different ways. I talk about the homeless thing because we can use all the volunteers possible, and I know many of our wonderful PA people live in Lower Bucks County. Remember the boy with the coats? He inspired me, and he was just a kid.

Good Morning Trish & PA;
Today I've been up working on my project and presentation for tomorrow nights class. This week is the end of 2 of my last 4 classes....YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In about 45 min I have to go get a shower and get ready for church. We are finally doing our Christmas story that was cancelled because of the 2 feet of snow we had prior to Christmas. Then our covered dish dinner following the service.
After church back home to continue homework. In addition to the project, I have three more papers to write to be handed in tomorrow. One is completed but I still have two more to write, haven't even gotten an idea down on paper for either one yet.
I'm going to try to get on the treadmill this afternoon or evening, didn't make it yesterday.
Hope everyone stays warm today.....

Today has me headed over to the gym for Pilates class. After that, one of Siehara's friends is coming over and I am going to take them ice skating. I am going to put skates on too! I have been skating in the past few years a couple of times, but always went really slow and stayed near the wall. It will be interesting to see if my balance has improved at all now.
After skating, we will come back here and hang out until her mom comes for her.
Then, I plan to make dinner and relax..
food has been going good.. very proud of myself!
We had church this morning, and thankfully I put a roast and veggies into the crock pot before I left. It smells great!
Time to toss in some laundry. I have a LOT of things to get ready for the consignment store so I am working on getting those clean and pressed.
I also want to read some of the novel I'm into right now - South of Broad by Pat Conroy. Excellent writer - one of my faves.
Yesterday afternoon we were out and took a spin thru Boscov's clearance racks. I got 2 suits - one for $17.50 and one for $29.00. Trouble is, they don't quite fit YET. I'm optimistic, but also glad that it's sweater season because I don't need many clothes to get through these cold days.
after ice skating, I took the friend home and then we went to another friend's house for pizza and wii..
I brought crustless pizza with me that I had in the fridge. I also made black bean dip and brought that with me. I had a few too many tortilla chips with the dip, but realized what I was doing and switched over to carrots. That wasn't as tasty and made me stop. I got up from the table when I found myself reaching for things that I really didn't want.
Stay warm if you go out today, I am fortunate enough not to have to

Trish GREAT work you are doing to help the homeless - my boss' church does the same but they get people I think it's once a month for a week. Good luck to the lady who is about to deliver too - I can't imagine having a baby and no where to live - breaks my heart.
I was supposed to go to the gym at 8 am this morning. It didn't happen. This is my first membership. I have always used treadmills, and other various equipment at home. I just always exercised alone, at home, cause that's how I roll. ha ha ha. (I have issues)
Well no one could go with me, and I freaked out and didn't go at all. I am so freaking neurotic. I knew I wasn't going to have a gym partner, and told myself I was going no matter what. I woke up, and just couldn't do it.
So.......I made breakfast for kiddos and am waiting for Johnny to come home with my Sheetz. coffee. Then we have a Football Party this afternoon at a local pub, then home to chill before the week starts all over again.
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
