A friend near Gettysburg, Pa?

It's been a really long time since I have been on this site.  Have I been busy?  Yes, but still not the reason that I haven't been on here.  I have pretty much lost my way on this journey.  Things were well, just really great!!  Got married, started school, etc, etc.  After I got married, I gained like 20 pounds.  I had steady for the longest time but then I got pregnant.  I gained another 55 pds on top of the 20.  I have lost 25 pds since the birth of our son but I just can't seem to change my eating habits.  Eating was way out of control for me when I was pregnant and I seem to still be stuck in that.  My hubby is no better.  He gained weight too and we talk about losing it but nothing ever happens with that.  We still buy the same things and eat the same things.  I am a stay at home mom who is taking 2 online college classes.  I am bored majority of the time and eat because of it.  My son is 6 months old so not much to do there and my hubby is gone more than 12 hours a day when working.  He comes home from work, showers, eats, and then sits on the computer the rest of the night.  My son is already in bed at that time and about 99% of the time, sleeps all night.  I had a really small groups of friends of which I hardly ever speak to now.  One has six kids and haven't talked to her in over 3 mths, one is just out of touch completely, (nothing in common with her, she is single and lives with her parents), another is married but seems to enjoy her "other" friends and drinking more than me.  There are some others but it's not even worth bringing them up.  I still try to keep in touch with them but it just like they have more important things to do.  I am just lonely.  It would be nice to have a friend that understood the challenges that I have with weight and the issues that go along with it.  Someone that has adulthood responsibilities and acts responsibly.  Maybe someone with kids and we can take our kids to the park together; do the stuff that friends do with each other and for each other.  I would like to find someone near the Gettysburg/New Oxford area to get to know each other and do things with, like the mall, coffee, whatever.  Maybe there is someone in the same boat as me and is looking for a good, trustworthy friend too.

Hi.  Just wanted to let you know i'm in the area.  I live in Biglerville.   My schedule doesn't have a lot of free time ( i'm in school full time, work part time, married, and have 2 kids...ages 3 and 18months).  I just has gastric bypass  back in November.   Feel free to message me and maybe we can get together.   It would be great if we could find some more people in this area!

Hello,

I live in Spring Grove (Just past Hanover off of 116).  I am married, no children yet, hopefully this journey will help with that.  I also just had surgery in November.

I work full time between Baltimore and Reading, PA.  I also go to the gym.  I don't have a lot of free time but I have no friends in the area at all-- the closest are 2 hours away and most are in Florida.  I would love to meet people.

Feel free to send me a message.

Dawn
