Newbie to this board...

Hi all!  I'm a newbie to this board, although I've been an OH member for awhile.  Just wanted to introduce myself; there's some info about me on my profile/blog if you want to check it out.  Hope everyone's having a great day, and thank goodness the warm weather is on its way!

I had VSG in November.  I don't know anyone else around this area who's had VSG (maybe I'm the first)?  This is my doc's first experience with it too - as of now, the doc recommends for me to have the same type of vitamins, diet, activity, etc. as her RNY patients.

there are a couple others that have had the same surgery as you... i think they had it done in philly... but welcome!

My BIL just bought a house on the outskirts of Harrisburg... so if i am ever out that way maybe we can meet up!

I'd definitely enjoy meeting up sometime!  Sometimes I feel kinda "alone" since I don't have a "real-life" support group to talk to other WLS people, like many others have.  Plus, not knowing anyone else around here that had VSG (except for my sister-we both had our VSG in MX together, but she lives in Allentown and unfortuntely we don't see each other too frequently). Thanks, and please let me know if you're ever in the area!

well I am between you and your sister... so if you would ever wanna meet up in Reading let me know hehehe...

My husband's grandparents live in Hershey (so does my BIL for now) so we go there every so often for things... will be there on Sunday for Easter lol...

I'd definitely be willing to meet up with you in Reading if we can go to the Outlets! 

My fiancee and son both work in Hershey.  My fiancee works at the Applebees. My son (15) just got his first job, working at Hersheypark.  He'll be working there this Saturday and also Easter Sunday.  I'll actually be in Hershey on Sunday too, my younger son (12) and I are going to the Hershey Bears hockey game at 5 p.m.!  Hockey on Easter-not a very "traditional" Easter for us I guess!

my hubby's grandma volunteers at the park to get us free tickets to the park... and he has a cuz that works there too... i will have to ask Morgan if she is working there this summer...

What is happening at the park on Easter Sunday lol? 

Outlets are a must if you come to Reading... I like the Liz C store there... got some awesome work pants for 12 bucks!!!  And Jones New York has some great deals too...
