Good morning all,

I am so happy this morning.

I was getting frustrated that I hadn't lost anything in 2 weeks with being sick and not getting to the gym.

I got back on the horse yesterday and hit the gym at work during lunch and LA Fitness after work.

I was so happy to see that I am down 2 lbs this morning.  20 lbs to go!!!

Hard to believe tomorrow is my 7 month anniversary date.

Thanks, i have to update my profile with a new pic.

I am actually going to take the film in to be developed this week with my before pics that I took the morning of my surgery.

I finally bought clothes that fit me this weekend and can't even begin to tell you how many people at work have commented.  Seems like every time I turn around someone else has something to say.

People at work think I am nuts for wanting to lose 20 more pounds, but I know where I want to be at.

How are you doing?  You must be getting so excited about the baby.  I hope you are feeling terrific.

Great job Geoff!!   Isn't it amazing how the correct fitting clothes give you such a psych lift?   Don't worry about the comments from others on that last 20lbs.  They don't understand the process.  You and your doc know best where you should land.  Remember, you may begin to look a little saggy (even older) near goal and that can be scary (we all thought we'd look younger when we got thinner, right?), but 6 mos to a year after "landing", your skin will puff back out a little (without gaining weight)   There is a fancy medical name for it I don't remember, but essentially once your skin cells realise "this is it" they adjust .  That's why PS is not recommended immediately after loss as there is a bounce-back in skin tone that takes a while to happen.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the support.  I would have been lost without you PA folks.

I may be living in NJ, but will always be a Philly boy at heart.
