Wednesday exercise thread

I'm off to the gym momentarily for 60 minutes of cardio. I'm planning on splitting my time between the two elliptcals, one at a higher speed, low incline, and one at a high incline, slower speed.

Will finish off with a set of sit ups.

Good Morning Norm & friends -

Today I'll hit the gym for cardio only. 45-60 minutes depending on my mood. I've had two days of weights in a row, so I'll take a break from weights today. Of course, I'll probably throw in a couple of ab sets too. I don't really count them as weight training.

Hope everyone works up a good sweat today !

Hey Norm!  Today I will do my 10:2 walk/run sequence at the gym on the treamill.  Then some upper body before coming home to do my physical therapy exercises and stretches.  Have a great day!

Good Morning Norm & PA!
I did my hour on the Elliptical this morning and it was a good INTENSE workout on the brighter side of things I lost 3 whole pounds!! So it's working slowly but surely I will take it any which way.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

Today is my rest day from the gym, and I need it after doing two Zumba classes last night! I'm going to take a walk at lunchtime and then go shopping after work for spring clothes, so I'll be sure to get in my 10,000 steps regardless.

Yesterday was bikes and weights.   Today recumbent and stepper.     My left foot has been swelling up on me the last 3 weeks after workouts; treadmill makes it worse, so I've switched to biking.   It gets hard and hot down the middle and moving along the inner veins to the inside ankle bone, now the outside ankle bone is swelling after workouts.   I know nothing about feet.   Someone mentioned fasciitus maybe??    Anybody have any ideas?

Yesterday I worked with the personal trainer for an hour.  Tonight I have an hour with the physical therapist (although I don't really consider that exercise) and my karate class.

Ok, so I'm late to the party today.  Didn't get to exercise till late, then time got away from us.  Paul and I walked on the beach today, using the metal detector to try to find our fortune.  Before we knew it, 2.5 hours had gone by.  We walked about 21 blocks or so, then 21 back again.  (No Norm, we didn't find that $10,000 ring.  But we did find about 46 cents and a toy car.)
