Post op support groups near Erie, PA?

Hi all....

I am having surgery May 10th in Cleveland (RNY).
I don't really want to drive that far to attend a support group...wondered if anyone knew of any groups closer to Erie, PA?

I would be willing to drive up to an hour, but it would be great if I could find something even closer.

I live in Erie, PA .... there are support groups at Hamot... I believe they are held at the Hamot Heart Institute on Wednesdays?

Call 1-814-877-6000 and ask for Hamot Bariatric Surgery and then ask them when their support groups are held. They are free. Also... St. Vincents is getting a bariatric program as well.. so they might have support groups soon.

I can tell you this much... you made the RIGHT decision going else where to have surgery! I had Dr. Ali and my surgery was done incorrectly and now I have to have a revision (which will be done in Pittsburgh)
