Wednesday Workout Thread

Good morning folks!

It was a sleep in day for us, so I'm momentarily off to the Day-timer gym for an hour of cardio. I'm only half awake right now, and in a mildly crabby mood, so I'm counting on a nice endorphin rush to pick me up this morning. It usually works. It's very hard to be in a bad mood after a good workout.

I suppose I better be off. Hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning Norm and PA!

I had a great run yesterday!  WAHOO!!  Today I am going for a light walk/run after school and then shooting a small bucket of balls at the driving range.  Have a great day!!

Good Morning Norm & PA workout buddies -

Today I'll hit the gym for cardio only since I've done two straight nights of weights. I'll probably try to shoot for an hour workout moving between the elliptical, the treadmill and the arc trainer.

Morning All-

Insanity day 3... a little tired, but more tired of the repeative moves in these workouts. Looking into other workout options that are outdoors since the weather has been so wonderful!

Morning!

Last night I worked out with my personal trainer, after sitting on my butt all day in jury duty.  Tonight I have an hour of physical therapy and an hour karate class.

lol No extra points for me....I told the judge I could NOT be impartial because it ****** me off that people commit crimes, then running from the law...just to cry "victim" and blame everyone else when they finally get caught.  Oh cry me a river, moron!  I'm pretty sure the defense attorney thought I might not be the best choice to sit on the jury.     I did burn a few calories walking back and forth to side bar.

I am going to go out at lunchtime for a walk.  Aetna actually participates in National Take a Walk Day and our boss has sectioned off a whole hour for us to get outside and walk.  The people working in the office are doing it together, but we are all allowed and supposed to get out and do it!

I don't know if I'll be able to go the whole hour based on the past few days, but I am sure as hell going to take advantage and get out there for some of it!!

If I feel ok later, I MAY go to the gym.  We'll have to see about that.

so much for the leisurely stroll I was going to take.  I went on this path near a creek by my house.  Granted, I have walked it before.. well today, I decide to cross this bridge that I usually walk past and go back on the other side of the creek.  WELL, the path on the other side of the creek is not as formed and not as straight.  I ended up taking an extra hike up and around the woods on the other side of the creek only to find that it did NOT end up at the other end like the major path does.  SOO, I had to go back the way I came and find the bridge again and go back on the major path.  It was a nice hike up hills and over different terrain, but I was sooo not back on time from lunch and was stinkin' hot and sweaty when I came back. I think I was out for about an hour when I planned to only be out for 30 mins.... oops

I don't think I'll be going to the gym later.. lol.

Good Morning Norm & PA!!
I did my hour on the Elliptical and will be watching what I put in my mouth. I also will be walking on my lunch and break. That will be it for me!!
