OT - Prayers and positive thoughts needed (yes baby and I are OK!)

Thanks Hun! I won't even go to the hospital to see his Dad - this is all understood. I am just the support staff from afar! You are so right, me and baby come first! And you should be proud! I have already accepted the offers of help from my family once the baby comes. My Mom, Aunt and Grandmother will all be at my disposal! AND I will be using them even if it is just to watch the baby so I can take a nap or a shower!

I AM proud of you - it is a HARD thing to let go of the things that we want to be done OUR way - my other bit of advise - allow Chris to bathe, change and dress the baby anyway he wants to - if you don't it will fall all on you and eventually you will be resentful that you have to do everything....The BEST thing that I did - and I think it was by accident - was let Larry bathe them when they were babies - he said to me - "you get to nurse, I want to bathe"  So until they were able to shower themselves - he was the "bath man"  SOOOO good for me as they got older! :)  And I am guessing that Chris is going to be want to be a big part of the baby's life anyway! :)  So - this might just be a mute point that I am making!  Oh well...sometimes I just like to hear myself talk! :)
