Good Morning PA!
I just posted about the western pa support group picnic being canceled. It really breaks my heart that nobody got back to me!

Today is the first day since February I don't have to work. My two sisters, aunt, uncle and I are going to Kennywood ... not looking forward to it at ALL. 1) I'm afraid of heights    2) I get motion sick VERY easily...
I loved rides when I was a kid. Last summer though, I found out very quickly that I should keep my happy self planted safely on the ground. The family will show NO mercy and probably force me to ride EVERYTHING ...

Sorry you had to cancel the picnic for western Pa. I would love to have come. I live in Rochester so it wouldn't have been far for me.
I understand your feeling about Kennywood. I am afraid of heights too. Try to enjoy yourself anyway.

    Was at Curves when they opened at 6:15, the laundry from the dryer kindly made it's way up to my room so after folding and folding it is on it's  rightful owners beds.   Whether it makes it into drawers is their problem!   My boss is in NC so  I have to feed his cat,bring in the mail and.......take care of the pool......Whoa is me:}      Have a great day and GO FLYERS!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone - seems we're all suffering from the laundry-in-the-dryer syndrome this morning! LOL - I put my last load on fluff this morning but never got it out, so I'll have to do that tonight when I get home.

Yeah, not a big hockey fan either and what really irritated me last night was that Wednesday when the Flyers actually played my DH slept thru most of the game so I had to listen to it while trying to read - so last night he puts the replay on Comcast and I have to sit thru it again? And when commercial breaks came on he switched over to some type of international baseball league?? Yeah, he's about to sent back down to the man-cave so I can watch my HGTV and Food Porn.

Today finds me at work - nothing unusual there. Tonight we're packing up and heading to our friends place in Fenwick for the weekend - hoping for hot, sunny weather to keep my Florida/ Bahamas tan going. Nothing special planned for the weekend - I think they said the Thunderbirds air group is going to be down in OC this weekend so we're thinking we'll go see that.

And other than that not much else new in my life - hope everyone has a great weekend.

Yep, the OC air show is this weekend.  Sat and Sun afternoons.  We've been in OC all week and have been watching the Thunderbirds practice the last 2 days.  Very cool!  We'll probably take our beach chairs down near the official seating area so we can see some of the other stuff, like the paratroopers.  (Paul's son wants to be a pilot, so this weekend will be a slice of Heaven to him.)  My cell is 484-716-2533 if you want to give me a holler if you come to OC.

Thanks Julia - what time is the show? I'm thinking we might take our friends boat out and watch it from there? They have a lovely pontoon boat so that might be fun!!

I think the show is noon-4 each day, or maybe till 5.  There's a link on www.ococean.com, which is where I got a lot of the info yesterday.  That would be great to watch it from a boat!  I'm guessing you'll be on the bay?  You may not see much other than the flyovers, but those are pretty cool.  That's all I've ever seen, but then again I'm not the budding pilot in the family.

We'll definitely be watching from the bay - he doesn't take the boat out on the big water but I'm sure we'll be able to see quite a bit. Saw there's a car and truck show in town this weekend, too - gonna be busy down there! I just downloaded a free app to my iPhone for OC. Enjoy the weekend!!

I forgot about the car show! We're right across from the convention center, so we may check that out too. We're on the beach right now watching the stunt planes and stuff practicing. I'll have to see if I can get an OC application for my Droid.

You're on the beach now?? Oh man, I'm jealous!! We're not heading down til later tonight - probably leave home around 7:00/7:30 in hopes of missing some of the traffic along the way. The iPhone app was free so there probably is one for your Droid.

My gf that we're going to visit is going to participate in the Assateaque Assault Triathalon in 2 weeks - god bless her - I hope she gets thru all of it - this will be the first time she's ever attempted anything like that, and she's my age (53). We'll be down that weekend to cheer her on.
I think we'll be in that area a lot this summer now that I'm not tied down with my mom - my friend is on a furlough all summer from her job at UMD and her husband is basically retired and living down there, so I'm sure we'll be spending a lot of weekends with them - and maybe a few long weekends if I happen to catch 'Fenwick Fever' while there - LOL!!
