Phyllis....thinking of you.
I wanted you to know that whatever happens we are here for you. I am sorry you have to make this decision, but at the same time for you to get 100% out of your band would be wonderful. I hear people get the hernia repaired and band surgery at the same time and its very common. Just wanted you to know I was thinking of you.

Me too Phyllis. I just saw your post on the ML. I think that this might be why you have had a tricky time with restriction. And if you can get a new band out of it, it might not be such a bad thing.
Not that anyone wants a revision, but this sounds do-able. Take care sweetie...
I was just having some pain and lack of proper restrciton. Turns out I have a hiatal hernia that is preventing me from getting good restrcition and pulling on my band. I am thinking I am going to get it fixed and have my band repositioned or maybe replaced with one of the newer ones. I am fine except tired and cranky because I am trying to give up coffee.
Thanks Kate.
Phyllis, as I said, I'm sure you'll be fine, and we're ALL here for you! Keep us posted, now. It for sure, may explain the restriction problems, and the slower loss. "The easy way out," I sure wish more people knew, just how EASY, it is! Chin up, chest out, deep breath, and as Frances, would say, ONWARD!~
