I really REALLY hope another surgery isn't needed - i was private pay and my insurance doesn't cover this at all.

Well, I was hoping I would hear by yesterday afternoon, but tat didn't happen, so I should hear something this morning. I'm ready for that unfill regardless, my chest hurts and I'm already tired of it taking 3 hours to drink 15 ounces.

Phyllis, all I can tell you is what I WOULD do. By the way, I can't wait to see the pics from your dinner! I'm glad you all had such a good time! Well, if I had it put to me ANYWAY, I would get the sleeve. I've had a great Band journey, and would certainly reccommend it, however, I would SO appreciate, no fills! Mainly because of the cost! Sometimes, I feel that SOME doctors, use fills, as a $$ maker! Even, if I had to self pay, I'd figure a way to get the sleeve! Your description of you after a DS, was hilarious!

Come to the Frozen Tundra! I paid $3.04, yesterday! ha it's still ridiculous! I thank God, we don't have oil heat! One of my friends, is going broke, with this winter!

Well, we all have problems, with that sooner, or later! I will tell you, I have found, that the 100 oz of water, actually, keep me regular, and cleaned out! That's just ME,but it seriously works! I eat a lot of veggies, and fruit, also. Your eating pattern, is totally differennt. Hpe you find a solution, soon, hon! IBS, can literally be a pain!

You're baiting, me, honey! ha I know, isn't it STUPID, how much we used to eat, at one sitting! I can't believe it, when I see what other people consume! ha So many think, in the food catagory, bigger, is always better! Man, we sure have a lot of misled ppl!~ We used to be there! Sad~

Marcia, I bet you're just a TAD, to, tight from that last fill. In MY experience, when I PB on something, I've always been able to eat, and I'd had a fill recently, I needed just a pinch unfilled. That's me, though! You know yourself, better, than anyone, hon! Keep us posted, now!

Wow, hon, what you ate, was great! I love the squash! Well, maybe you'll feel better about all of it, today, I hope!

Ha!~ I'm glad you're getting those anti-oxidents, from those berries! Your dinner sounds SO good! Ya know, I love grapes, w/pretzels, or chips. I think it's the sweet, and salt thing!

Hi Phyllis. That is a tough call. But after reading the DS/Band wars lately and seeing how I've hit a brick wall with my weight loss, makes me wonder if my own body requires the results a DS or RNY will give me. The sleeve will still be restriction only, so for me, I don't know if that's all I need, maybe I needed more.
I don't know what to say....you've struggled and maybe the reposition will work just fine. I think lurking on their board is great, you get to see the ups and the downs.
Sorry...not much help here. Let us know what you decide.
