Monday weign-in!
Congrats everyone on your weight losses!! I seem, yet again, stuck on this darn plateau. I am not sure what my body is going through but it is quite frustrating. I am not gaining any weight, so that is a plus. However the pounds are stuck... to the exact ounce day after day!! It again is going on week number 2. I was hoping to meet my goal of being at 325 for my flight and it looks as if that just isn't going to happen :( losing 7 pounds in 4 days is just out of my reach... maybe I will be 325 when I get back!
Anyways, I feel my body is holding onto this weight for whatever reason and have decided to take a closer look at what I am actually eating. I know my calorie intake is under what it should be, however with the shakes I am getting all my protein in everyday!! I think I need to up my water consumption and exercise and hopefully that will help in getting some of this weight to move it on outta here!!!
Any other suggestions would be great!! How do you lose still2 plus pounds each week especially when you are so close to goal!?!? I would love to hear your advice on how to re-jump start my losses.

Hi Sarah, how frustrating are those plateaus!!! Earlier in my journey, I was losing 2 weeks a month, then 2 weeks plateau... I just continued doing what I always did... High proteins and low carbs. But I often noticed that when the weight is still, the body is adjusting and sometimes the measurements are changing... Do you mesure yourself regularly? It helped me during those plateaus...
Another important point is exercise. I started exercising at 6 weeks post op and it helped me a lot, and I think it's what is keeping me losing. Do you exercise, like a little walk everyday?
Don't worry, keep up what you are doing and you will start to lose again...
You already have lost more than any of us here, I am so impressed , and I know you will continue to amaze us!
((hugs))
