I experienced this when I was banded in 2009. You go through a period where you lose more hair than usual. I'm actually going through this now again because i just had a baby. I'm taking Biotin which is supposed to help. You can find it at the pharmacy or any natural products store. I also find cutting my hair a little shorter helped. Do not fret, it will grow back :)
did u end up selling the optifast? if not do u have chocolate left?

I am to be operated on sept. 20th, one of my concerns is hair loss which starts btwn 3-5 months....
has anyone experienced this? What did u do ?

I live in lachute at the moment but will be moving in a wk to montreal..... my surgery is in two weeks...
I have a great deal of jeans in size 14 and xl tops...... that I am getting rid of...... most of them have not been used.
