 Hello Gabriella,

I am thinking about VSG with dr. garneau (self pay). Can you tell me about your experience with him and how much you lost?

Thanks,

Laurence

Topic: Garneau?
 Hello,

I am waiting for a surgery with Dr. Pierre Yves Garneau. I am also considering Dr. Christou.

I am going with the private sector.

I know that Garneau uses 36-40 bougies...is this too big?

For the ones that had surgery with dr. Garneau, how much weight did you lose?

Thanks

Lau

Congrats on your loss. Keep up the great job. I understand plateaus happen and one is not supposed to too worried about them from what I've read so far. My surgeon wants a filter put in because I'm on coumadin. He consulted with my hematologist and she didn't think one was necessary. I received a letter from RVH on Thursday to see another hematologist at the end of June. I hope the two hema's talk to each other and that this doesn't delay my surgery.

I had a by-pass on Monday feb 27th and since then I lost 28 pounds or 13 kilos, I did hit a plateau for 2 weeks but i suddenly lost anoter 2 pounds. I 've been on waiting list since 2006 and they finally called me for a meeting on Dec 15th and then it went very fast. My surgery went well 2 days in hospital and the third I was home, its does hurt for at least 7 to 10 days but then it goes slowly away,
I really hope for you that they call you verry soon, keep on calling mary she ' ll know you are interet it . keep me posted Good Luck
