That is awesome news - that's super quick too!!  Must be quite a shock to get used to...and also to make arrangements, wow!  

Let us know how it goes with the protein shakes - hopefully you find a flavour that you enjoy.  I've sometimes seen the syrups for sale at Winners in their fancy food section, and I picked up some in the States last time I was there.  

I'm always truly happy to see these messages on here, cause I know how happy you must be and also it means that my call is getting closer too!

I'm a strong believer in things happening when you least expect them to...that was the case when I got a call today at work as I was swamped and didn't think for a minute that it was "the call".

But it was!!!!!!! My surgery is booked for January 10, 2012.

24 months after I was placed on the hospital list. What a journey this is becoming, I'm sooooo looking forward to sitting on that losers bench...so move over and please make a little room for me

Now I will be starting on that lovely Optifast next week so can you all remind me of the syrop you put in it to make it taste decent and where to buy it. I know that it's been written here before but wouldn't know where to look.
