Congrats Monica! I had my surgery at the Rockland clinic and beleive me I was very well treated. The whole staff makes you feel quite at ease. I worked myself up pretty good as well before surgery and when I had my date unexcpetedly I went on with it cause otherwise I would of drove myself nuts about the idea of the surgery.

After all, I realized it was really not what I had worried about. Everything went great, I am now 3 day post-op and I get energy here and there, but the most important thing is to listen to your body when it says it is tired and take the time to rest...

Thanks Nathalie, I have ups and downs I guess I am finding it difficult not being able to be energetic and moving all over like I wish I could... But Its part of the process...

No worries if we couldnt meet before, I totally understand... We will meet soon!

Yeah! Excellent news, Monica!

You did take the right decision and are definitely in good hands with Dr Gagner. You may feeel a bit "iffy" momentarily but the benefits of WLS will proove you right!

Hi Monica...great news!!! It's always tough to make the decisions in life but once it's made you can start living and stop waiting. Good luck to you and hopefully my "sleeve" will happen close to yours...who knows.

Thanks all for your kind wishes. I am recovering slowly and am getting back on my feet faster than i thought, but sometimes i feel week and i get hot flashes. I am able to drink water enough to keep me going and i was able to drink about 60ml of frozen boost... i have lots of flem coming out, i guess its normal since i havent smoked, it kind of makes me feel nauseous when i smell it, even perfume gets me nauseous. Martine told me today i can take the bandages off, i just cant wait to be able to take a great long shower.

Thanks guys. It went well except for yesterday had a little issue with the morphine. My system wasnt taken it, but oh well I dont need them very much as the pain is more of a gaz pain than anything... But oh my was I ever nervous going in but the staff there were so nice and relaxed that I didnt stress long.

So here I am on the loosers bench with you guys! Yayyyyyyyy! Thx for all your support everyone. It is much appreciated, and thanks Derek for posting on my behalf!
