It's not always easy. Even for me I've had many, many stalls. Gained a few pounds back then lost some and more. Many times depends on many factors and I've noticed (as well as some of my other wls friends) that you need to "shake" up your metabolism to get things started again.
Eat something different...change your exercise routine...just change things up a bit. I find that this usually helps me. The dietician from the Vic seems to be right on with what she said. I too want to lose more but maintaining what I've lost so far is my primary goal.

my surgeon is Dr sebastien D. I gery my session on dec 5th 2011 and my surgery was on Feb 27th 2012 almost a year ago. as soon as I went for my session I call maria the ols secretary that was working there and she give me the appointment right after and du to my diabetes and high blood pressure and everything else I pass 2 months after. and I can not be more happy even though I haven'T lost my 103 pounds but lost only 80 i'm very happy like that so don't be discourage it will come soon.
on Feb 27th will be one year for me as well, And I had not lost the pounds i want it I have another 26 pounds to go and i do not know why but it stop right there, but the dietician at Royal vic, told me the point its not the number but maintain my lost.

well I did bring my tablet but was no wifi in royal vic, but I did download movies on it so i watch a movie and I had a book download aswell but I was so tired I did even read more than 2 pages and the movie took like 2 days to fini****
I had my measurement spoons bought in store few days before so I was Ok for me back at home, and I make sure I had all kind of diferent soups that I made before or cans like the creme de poulet from campbell was very good.
and than I star walking walking walking at home and outside it was beggining of march so it was nice out.

I am pre-op and I am trying to prepare ahead for anything that I will need. What did you wish you had? or what made things so much easier for your post-op?

- Sippy Cup - Sounds stupid, but it will slow me down to not drink to fast
- Bought Sugar-Free Jello, Crystal light, Salt free broth
- Measuring Spoons
What would you recommend for the first month??
After the information session I did Google Dr. Demyttenaere. And I was under the impression He was the one giving the surgery. which was a little worrisome to me because I found out he was a general surgeon and not a bariatric one. Glad to know. So if I calculate, it sounds like I should be expecting to have it this summer, which is what I was expecting.. Thank you for the info!!
