I am doing amazing, thank you for asking! It is incredible the way we go about our day and the weight just comes off. From my highest weight I have lost 30 pounds and from surgery weight I have lost 23 pounds. I could never have done this without the sleeve. It has been 5 weeks. What an amazing gift for me this year. I feel so blessed.
I have been following you on the other forum and I can tell you are doing amazing! Good for you! I would like to thank you for your guidance. You have inspired and helped me a lot.

I too was banded in March 2009 by Dr. Leclerc and although I managed to lose some weight, I gained all of it back (albeit I had a baby 7 months ago). I had the same problem as you, never physically felt satisfied after a cup of food, and often got stuck. I consulted with Dr. Garneau from Sacre Coeur Hospital, and am having the lap band removed and will have a VSG (should be February - March of 2013 as I already did all my pre-op tests).
Dr. Leclerc's patients have been transferred to Sacre Coeur Hospital - there is a nurse pivot specifically for his patients that want to add some saline to the band, or have any complications (Pascal Turbide - 514-331-4322) or you can make an appointment with any of the doctors from Sacre Coeur if you are thinking of having another type of WLS instead.

Finally, AFter 6 years of waiting lists....I will have DS surgery in the spring....hoping i could get some information from any quebec folks who have had the surgery here..or are familiar with the hospital/area.
I'm actually home sick today...so I don't know if I'll end up going either...hope everyone feels better soon!!

I don't want anything this year for Christmas, you have already given me the most amazing gift anyone could every ask for!
Every day I wake up and I am grateful for my sleeve! My husband is grateful, my kids are grateful. it has changed EVERY aspect of my life! Words can not express how grateful I am!
Yesterday was my 6 month surgerversary... what better way to celebrate than to have lost 100 lbs!!!!
