Hi Monica,
Thanks for the info.
I'm getting my surgery in Westmount Square Clinic with Dr Gagner (Private selfpay)
I was told the care is not as god as Rockland but I couldn't care less. (As long as I'm safe and sound it doesn't matter to me)
Have a wonderful Christmas!
Sonia
Hi Derek,
Good to "see" you here! Wow, 180 pounds that is absolutely insane. And right back at you, you look FANTASTIC!!!
Cheers,
Monica
Hi Sonia,
Thank you.
Dr. Gagner is an excellent surgeon and a pretty nice man, even though he can seem a bit distant sometimes. While he will not try to become your best friend, he will answer, patiently and thoroughly, all the questions you might have. At least that was my experience with him.
It's normal to feel nervous about surgery, but you are in very capable hands with Dr. Gagner and the facilities at the Rockland clinic are excellent and you'll get great post-surgery care. And honestly, this is a pretty "easy" surgery in terms of recovery; in a few days, you'll be back on your feet!
Good luck!
Monica
Hi Monica,
I haven't been on here in like forever but it's nice to see the old gang still hanging around. It is crazy what we can accomplish in so little time. I am also about 25 pounds away from my ultimate goal but on the other hand, I am also 180 pounds lighter then I was at 415 pounds. YOU LOOK AMAZING BTW!!!
Keep it "off" girl! ;)
Derek

Well done!!!!!!
How was your surgery experience with Dr Gagner?
My surgery date for VSG is Jan2 nd. (I'm very nervous since it'smy first surgery)
Hi Lisa,
Thank you for your comment. Plateaus are definitively one of the hardest things to deal with. It helps if you take pictures along the way and carefully track the weight loss progression - this way you have concrete proof of how you've come along.
Cheers,
Monica
