thanks for the feedback on Dr Court, he did seem very professional and responsive to my questions in the interview. Still waiting to hear back on my surgery date and preop stuff. What was your timetable like for this?
Hi everyone,
I was released yesterday and today doing quite well. I am still on liquids, so I am enjoying my chicken broth. It goes down nicely. I can't believe surgery is done. Now its all about sipping and walking.
Hey,
Just wanted to give a heads up. At the support group meeting last night... I heard that the Lachine Hospital has a new bariatric surgery unit and the wait time is minimal compared to RVH. And it's Dr. Court who performs the surgery asly well!

If you are in the hospital you are in good hands... better than being at home and being sick. Take your time to heal and don't worry every body reacts differently.

Hey,
I am going to Cuba in December and was a little worried about the food there. Can I bring my protein powder with me? Has anyone traveled to an all inclusive since their surgery? I lost 142 lbs in 9 months and do not want to get off track in Cuba. Any advice?????
I was sleeved 9 months ago at RVH Dr. Court. He was awesome. I had no trouble. Good luck!
